Okay, so I know there's the law that your place of employment needs to let you pump. However, I have some questions, so if you momma's could help me, I would greatly appreciate it!

I work at a dental clinic (not private practice), and the policy is 15 minutes paid (set up, pump, bag, clean, and getting back to work), anything more you need to use PTO. So I take a break in the morning and another in the afternoon, both paid. Obviously, 15 is NOT enough time! Good for those of you who can do it in that time.

I was informed by one of the managers, today, that I NEED to ask the doctor I work with, when I can go take my break, rather than letting him know I'm going to go take it between patients. She also stated that if my actions don't change, there will be disciplinary actions taken. "Patients come first" is another thing she had mentioned.

Pretty sure it's against the law for them to be saying I need to ask to take my breaks? Correct me if I'm wrong....
