Just found out I'm pregnant with twins!!! Any advice mommies?

2nd pregnancy, we're having twins!

Today was our first ultrasound. I have been waiting WEEKS to finally meet our little baby! It is also my husbands birthday, so we knew it was going to be an exciting day. I had joked with my OB prior to the scan that I was hoping to see only one baby, not two. On my moms side of the family, twins happen but it skips every 3 generations, which would be my generation. I have a younger sister so I have always been hopefuly SHE would end up with the twins for the family. Welp! Definitely twins for us! We currently have a daughter, she will be 3 years old next month and we are so excited to see her be a big sister! Cannot wait to see what our journey looks like over the next 6 months! Wish us well please

I’m 6 weeks today twins?

So in 6 weeks today.This is my 7th pregnancy. I have shown sooner with all my kids. Even if I suck in my belly I still have a bump. Wondering if twins?

32 weeks with twins

I’m 32 weeks with my twins and am worrying I won’t make it to my scheduled 37 week c-section. How many of you went past 34 weeks with your Mono/Di twins

After 3 kids and 3 miscarriages hubby and I decided to try for one more again. Ended up with 2 sweet babes! So nervous as we never thought we’d be a family with 5 kids. Excited for these babies and praying everything goes smooth from here on out. 7 weeks yesterday. Anyone else try for the last baby and up with two? How are you feeling?

12w genetic tests

I hear they are less accurate for twins and multiples. Is this just the blood draw portion that is less accurate or will the ultrasound information be less accurate as well? I was thinking the ultrasound might just be a lot longer cause there is more than one baby to scan? Any info from mamas who’ve done their genetic scans would be great.

UPDATE - Twins at 39 weeks

*latest UPDATE*THEY’RE HERE! 39+1 natural birth. I am just so happy to have 2 happy healthy babies ❤️🥰Update #2:39 weeks today! Still no signs of babies coming! Possibly going to be induced tomorrow. I just want to meet my babies ❤️Update #1:Still going strong at 38 weeks- these last few days are feeling like a DECADE! Original post:Still going strong at 37 weeks! 🌈 All Week 3 Line Progression / DPO 9 beta was 72 // could it be multiples?

Multiple mamas, would love your thoughts. After 6 early losses I am praying that this may 🌈 but I’m thinking it could actually be 🌈🌈 (!!)*these are all week 3 HPT results*On DPO 6, negative (a waste to test, I know)On DPO 8 (morning) I got my BFP and the line had darkened by the evening On DPO 9 my beta HCG was 72 (!)Today is DPO 12 and the test line is almost as dark as the control line!This is the earliest I’ve ever tested positive (all my losses weren’t + until DPO 14 or 15) and the line is darkening so fast.How many of you have experienced something similar? It would be so wonderful to be blessed with multiples after losing 6 😇 Thanks jn advance ❤️

What are your thoughts?

I had an abdominal dating scan. The tech said it may be twins or a cyst. She was not skilled enough to get a heart beat on either. You can see the 2 photos below. The arrow is the forsure baby and circle is the one in question. Would love to know your thoughts or experiences.

32+2 delivery

My babies made their entrance into the world on 9/17/24 via c-section due to baby A being breech. As soon as I received my spinal, baby A’s placenta abrupted and it became an emergency c-section. Healing has been sloooow and painful, but I am feeling better every day. Both babies are required to stay in the NICU until at least 35 weeks, but they are doing great! Growing and thriving, and I can hardly wait for them to be home with my husband and me and our 5 & 7 year old children.JacobEvangeline

Vertical uterine cut

I’m pregnant with twins and my first c section was a vertical cut so this will be my 3rd c section I wanted to know if anybody else got pregnant with twins with a vertical uterine cut because I heard it was high risk and the uterus might rupture

I’ve never shown this early before 🥴(Ignore the line on my stomach, I was wearing high waisted pants today lol)First ultrasound tomorrow so we’ll see if there’s more than one or not 🤞

Cramping at 5 weeks??

Do you cramp more with a multiple pregnancy than with a singleton?? I have my first ultrasound tomorrow at 5w2d (according to my LMP) so idk for sure yet.But this is my 4th pregnancy after 3 singletons and I’ve never cramped like this with them. Just wanting to ease my anxiety a bit I guess.This is all of my symptoms right now:Fatigue Increased appetite Peeing ALOT Bloating Moody af Cramping Sore nipplesCravings I’ve never had symptoms this early either.

Possibility of twins??

I go for an ultrasound this Friday and based off my period I’d be 5w2d that day but prettyyyyyy sure I ovulated early as I had a blazing positive a week before my missed period and a dye stealer at 5 days before my missed period and then took one 2 days after my missed period and it stole ALL of the dye😅Will they be able to tell if its twins or not? Or will I need to wait for a few weeks to know for sure??

Holy moly 5 weeks and 3 days and I find out there’s 3!!!!! I’m still in complete shock.
