Waking up baby to eat ?

My baby sleeps through her feeding times she can go 3-4 hours sleeping until she wakes up for a feeding I know newborns are supposed to be fed every 2-3 hours so I'm confused with whether I should wake her or wait for her to wake up and give me signs that she is hungry. She was weighing 5lbs and 14 oz at birth and after her week check up she was weighing 6lbs and 5oz she turns 2 weeks tomorrow and don't have an appointment to check her current weight. What do you moms do ? Wake babies up or wait for them to wake up???
