first morning urine?

Hey guys.. how's everyone doing? Quick question for you all.. how important is fmu when testing early? 4 days until my period is due and I did a test this morning first thing and I got a faint bfp.. then I test about an hour later and my urine was very clear, and the test was bfn with a slight shadow. (I mean I had to hold it in several lights to see)

Did a clearblue plus last night and got a plus before the 10 minute window ended..but a NEGATIVE on the clear blue digital. What is going on!?

I'm in the same position... I did a cheap test on Friday with 2nd morning urine and got a faint BFP. I did a first response and clearblue digital yesterday which were both negative. I'm just about to test this morning but I'm soooo nervous. I know that the clearblue digital don't show as positive if there isn't enough pregnancy hormone

The longer you hold in your urine the more hgc builds up to give you a positive. That's why they say fmu because you've likely been sleeping for hours allowing it to build up. If you hold it as long as possible you might get another lounge during the day.

I know it's annoying, but FMU is pretty important when testing early.  Also, it takes more HCG to get a positive on a digital, so you might have to wait a few more days to get your digital BFP.

Your first wee in the morning is more concentrated so has more hormones in and that as your drinking throughout the day it gets more diluted so if you've has a positive it means your pregnant but only very early on
