Bacterial vaginosis

So at my last physical exam they found out I have bacterial vaginosis from some swabs they took and my pap exam. The doctor said it was my choice whether I want to get it treated but that it would resolve itself on its own and it's not harmful to me. So I decided to just let it run its course. But after my boyfriend went down on me -- like a real long treat -- the next day his stomach was upset for the whole day. I know it could be some food he ate but could he have gotten sick from eating me?
