Therapist told me to cancel a date

My therapist told me I should cancel a date I have today. She isn't for me using the apps to meet guys but she let it go anyways I had a date tonight and he's cute, former army, he kind of throws up red flags but nothing I can't handle. He's separated has a child, has severe PTSD. My therapist told me to be cautious but he made a comment that my therapist thought was questionable but I don't know if I think it is. He white and he said he doesn't think colored women are attractive but he said he thinks I'm pretty. I mean I feel like I shouldn't cancel because of that. It was a compliment to me.
