My baby is 18 days old. Initially she was latching and sucking but when she was finished she would still be crying as if she were starving. When I got home she was feeding on the breast less and less I spoke to a lactation consultant who said it sounded like she had a tongue tie and wasn't sucking effectively. I was told to pump as much as I can 10-12 times a day. Well now my right breast is producing 4-5oz every 3 hours and my left is Barely making an oz in the same time frame. I am pumping both equally. The baby had the tongue tie fixed and will be starting suck training this week but in the mean time I don't know what to do to increase the supply in my left breast. You can even see the difference in the breasts. Any one else have this issue and anyone have anything that worked to increase supply?
