Ovulation pains? What's going on!!

Does anyone ever have ovulation pains or feel when they are ovulating? I'm so confused and looking for some insight. Got a positive opk Sunday and Monday. Stopped doing OPKS Monday night because I knew it meant I was ovulating. Well, I'm still having some twinges and cramping on my right side today. That's 4 days past when I got my POS opk? Is this normal! Am I maybe just ovulating late? I know, I should temp but I didn't want to start temping just yet (will next cycle if I don't get a BFP this month!) I just need some insight on this. It's all new to me. Help ladies!!! Please!!
