Teething tablets?

Has anyone used these for their baby? My son is 6 months and his gums are slightly swollen making him uncomfortable and I'm torn between using the oragel or the tablets ... A washcloth helps him, but would like something that will help him sleep better .

Don't use oragel! It can numb babies tongue and throat and they can choke.  I used Hylands teething tablets for my daughter ocasionally. She preferred the cold teethers tho. Or cold fresh fruit in a mesh thing to gum on.

I agree, I felt the tablets helped more than the gel. We still use them for her 2 year molars

I've always used Tylenol or advil for my son and now my daughter because I'm not sure I'm comfortable giving my infant belladonna and other things that are in it. I won't know if she'll react to it or not and if something could go wrong. I've just never been confident in it but I know how Tylenol works so I stick to that. How did you all become comfortable with the teething tablets? I live in Canada if that makes any difference as well...
