What is the more common spelling? (US)

I think we are going to name our baby Miles or Myles, but I'd like to give him the spelling that is most common. I've only known two people with the name, one is spelled one way, one is spelled the other so I don't really know! We are in the US (Phoenix).

Miles for sure. Adding the "y" is a more recent trend. I'm not a fan of this whole swapping the "y" for an "I" thing. LOVE the name though 😊

It's funny how equal the votes are when I was about to say how they are seriously equally popular. So it really boils down to preference. I love the Y in the name so it doesn't look like car miles but love the name overall

I can remember back in elementary school having friends names Miles. But as an adult the babies being born now are Myles
