Im 27 weeks and i think im having contractions off and on should I call my doctor or wait to see if they get worse and closer together?

Call your dr if you think you need to but i would drink a glass of water go to the bathroom and lay on your left side for an hour.... contractions dont happen "off and on" they get stronger and closer together no matter what you do...sounds like BH to me

Do they hurt? I had braxton hicks regularly with my son starting at 20w they were uncomfurtable but they didn't hurt. Bring them up to your doctor at you next apt. :)
