Having friends over.

How does everyone handle having friends stay the night?

My SO and I have a mutual friend who was originally just his, and don't get me wrong this friend is great but whenever he's in town he ALWAYS stays the night and I therefore get zero sleep because they stay up late and get up early and (despite trying to be quiet) they play FIFA and get excited and lose their cool and yell.

So now I'm on five hours of sleep with an insane amount of shit to do. Which definitely isn't the end of the world it's just really irritating.

We've talked about it several times and he always comes to the conclusion that they probably shouldn't play FIFA until I'm awake but whenever the friend is in town he just like.. I don't know, haha. Either can't stand up to him or convinces himself it'll be okay.

I'm inclined to just let it go, but it's like.. The hundredth time it's happened because we actually used to all be roommates. I just feel like we're 27 and maybe should be able to behave more considerately. But then I feel inconsiderate for wanting to "take his fun away". Anyway, does anyone else have similar recurring issues?

P. S. GUYS: I have zero issues with video games. I was just sad they were being so loud so I couldn't get more than six hours of sleep when I had a lot to do today :p. I'm not knocking video games! I love them <3.
