7 week old gagging for no reason!?

Question

My 7 week old son will sometimes just be sleeping or laying to get his bum changed & will just start gagging & almost starts choking .. For no reason?? My sister inlaw says her son does it, she thinks because he gets a bad taste in his mouth?? I had him checked today for acid reflex & my docter doesnt think he has it ..

Has anyone else's babys done this ?? If so do you know why??

My baby does this too, especially when I change him after he's done eating, even if I wait a bit to let his milk settle. I feel like if he's too full the milk is coming back up just like when you drink too much water and lay down you could feel it coming back up. I've started putting him on a pillow to keep his upper body elevated while changing him and it's gotten better :) hope this helps

My daughter does this.

They spit up a little and it gets stuck in their throat. So it goes back down right away. They are trying to spit it up but it (milk) doesnt make it out. Then she makes a nasty face probably because of the taste.
