Birth control implant?

So my postpartum appointment is coming up and im debating what birth control to get im not sure if I just want to stick with the pill or get the implant it seems like a really good option but I don't really know anyone that has gotten it .. Any advice or experiences for or against the birth control implant ?

***im not asking about iuds im asking about the implant that goes in your arm***

Before this pregnancy I had the nexplanon and loved it. Gained a lot of weight but that can be managed. I will get it again after this pregnancy.

I have the Nexplanon arm implant if that's the one you're talking about. It's amazing so far. I got it in December & it's now April. I have had 0 problems with it, honestly. It's painless and you can't even feel it's there. I recommend it 100%.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am going with a copper IUD after this baby makes her appearance! Hormone free! Which is what I need with breastfeeding and my connective tissue disorder. And I have been on hormonal birth control in the past and it completely screwed with my mental state. I would get anxiety attacks with the pill about 30 minutes after I took it, and I just felt off. Then, after getting off it I had the hormone levels of a menopausal women for 3 years. After doing research, I decided I am staying away from any type of birth control containing hormones at all. So Copper IUD for me! Hopefully I have a good experience with it. I hear it mostly has to do with just having a good doctor that correctly places it, and you should be just fine!
