Coldsores

No hate please, I know I'm uneducated about this stuff 😟

I got two coldsores on the corners of my mouth a couple of days after giving my bf head and they've still not healed 2 weeks later... he's never had any, so does anyone know how they're spread other than sexual contact? And how easily they're spread, as I don't want to pass the virus onto him by accident. Also, advice on how to make them heal faster would be much appreciated!!
