Anybody else?

Any other already moms have an issue with their own mother not following rules and disregarding them as a mother? Every time my mother takes my daughter somewhere it's like her phone is magically not working. She is never accessible when I call to check on my daughter. She took her today for a birthday present, she's 6, and I texted asking how my daughter was. Nothing. When she finally texts me back she responds with her phone died because her husband was on it all day. Mind you they were at Disney all day, don't know why he would be on the phone all day but then again the guy literally spends all his life on a computer when he is at home. Anyways when she disregarded my concerns of never being able to reach her I told her that if she can't respect my one request while she has my daughter she doesn't need to take her anywhere anymore. Well my mom likes to play victim on anything and everything she can and she did so I flipped out. She acts as if just because she birthed children she is God of all mothers(she isn't) and she doesn't need to follow any rules because she is grandma. Please tell me I'm not crazy and not the only one who has to deal with this? I'm absolutely fed up worrying about my child when she has her.
