I took this as my first bc and it worked fine for me.

I did when I was breast feeding my first son. It's not as effective as a full hormone pill. It's a lower dose but while on it I never got pregnant so it worked for me. But even when used perfectly any birth control is 99.9% effective so I always say use a condom as well
