Hughes syndrome? Anyone have it?

Question

Has anyone been tested for aps/sticky-blood/Hughes syndrome? I get tested tomorrow because we've had recurrent miscarriages along with failed iui's, im just curious how common this is or any success after diagnosis? Also, how long it takes to get results back??

I have APS as well. I also have Systemic Lupus Erythmatosus and the two commonly occur together. Diagnosing APS can be tough since your body can create the antibodies at some points and you can test negative later. This is why the tests have to be done at least 12 weeks apart. We lost our son at 32 weeks in January and APS was the cause. We're hopeful that I can carry to term with the help of aspirin and heparin injections the next time around

I have APS and am currently pregnant. (16+6) 
I was tested shortly after having a stillbirth at 26 weeks. Some of the antibodies they tested came back positive so I had to go back and do the same test 12 weeks later. Your doctor should be able to tell you how long it takes for the results to come back - different places have different wait times. 
I sincerely hope you do not have APS (it makes for a pretty nerve wrecking pregnancy), but hopefully they can find the cause for your miscarriages.
