Anyone have experience with an eif showing up in ultrasound?

Had my anatomy scan done last week. They called me Monday and told me they found a spec in babies heart called an E.I.F said that it can be nothin but can also be a sign of downs.. I asked if everything else came back good and they said yes but they still want me to see a genetic specialist as precaution. If they act like its not big deal then why do I have to do this? Also, find it strange that they haven't posted the results online like the typically do. Anyone have any experience with this or knowledge?
