LGBT+ people, especially trans people* (not just "transgenders" you wouldn't say "should blacks be able") are at a much higher risk of assault than any regular cis gendered person. 
They aren't going into a bathroom to blind your kid, they're going in to use a stall and be assured in knowing that they aren't going to be brutally attacked once they are out of that stall. 
There are hundreds of transgender men, who haven't undergone surgery yet, so they still have female reproductive organs, but they look as manly as the Roc or as casual as Ryan Reynolds, unless you plan on manually checking everyone's junk who enters a bathroom you'd assume that those people are men, and you'd want them in the men's stall, but if you go with "use the restroom you're born as" they'd be in the woman's restroom and you'd be shitting yourself.

I'm more worried about weird ass fucking people wanting to stick their noses in my underwear to figure out if I'm a woman or not. YOU guys are the fuckin creeps, not some LGBT+ person trying not to get beaten.

Here is my complaint with this whole thing.  It hits close to home because I live in NC.  If I understand this, transgender people are complaining because they have the right to feel comfortable in the bathroom/shower facilities , so they should be able to use whichever one they identify with.  OK. Great.  Does that mean that the non-transgender people don't have the same right?  Personally, I don't want to be in the bathroom or shower with a man. I would be uncomfortable.

I work with a woman Julia who used to be a man. I believe she still has a penis although I've never asked. But she has a wife and she's totally awesome. Well, coworkers of mine were saying she shouldn't be able to use the woman's bathroom, which she does. These coworkers are male. So I told them not to worry about it because I'M the one using the bathroom and if they aren't, then they need to shut up. Because I know if Julia went to use their bathroom, they'd lose it. She's protected under PA law and I don't care what bathroom she used. A seperate bathroom isn't necessary.

The people who are complaining that people should use the bathroom bases on their biological sex, are the same people who would freak the hell out if they saw a trans man or woman in the bathroom with them. It's obvious they people like that have never met a transgendered person and are extremely sheltered individuals or live in an area where there aren't many trans people. It shocks me when people talk like that. This is 2016. People should use the bathroom where they feel comfortable whether that is the bathroom with which they identify OR a gender neutral bathroom but no one should not be FORCED to use the bathroom based on their biological sex. It's ridiculous.

I believe gender is not a choice for us to make. Our gender is chosen for us when we are created in the womb. Some people may think they are something else but that doesn’t mean they are that.
