How correct would a 12 week ultrasound be for gender?

We were told we are having a boy but i thought this was pretty early to tell.  How exact do yall think this would be?

Being a mom of two boys, and a third on the way (found out at 12 weeks also), I'd say your sonogram looks very much like a boy. This is my current little one at 12 weeks. It's pretty obvious with him. I'd say plan for a boy. A girl can always wear a few "boy" outfits and get away with it till you can exchange or replace them, but it's not so easy the other way around. :)

I would be thinking boy for sure but not 100% sold until a scan at least til 15 weeks

12w3d they told me boy and it's a boy (confirmed by genetic testing). That looks very much like a boy, and a lot bigger than just a nub. There is still a chance it might be wrong though so I'd wait for confirmation.

I had an u/s at 12 weeks and Dr sd it was a boy . Then the blood work came back n I'm having a girl .

You're close to 13 weeks according to your u/s so it could be right. I found out at 13 weeks last time with my boy.

Not very. 16 weeks roughly is the earliest to be accurate from a scan

I would wait a little longer unless you have a tech who has been doing it for year upon years and never been wrong about gender. I went to the doctor last Monday I was 12 weeks 3 days and tech told us boy but I swear it was just the umbilical cord. True enough yesterday went to ob 13 weeks 4 days, my tech has been doing for 22 years and has never been wrong but once and that was in the very beginning of her career. And guess what I was right we are having a girl and there was no numb and her legs was wide open.

I would hold off on buying anything until your next appointment because 3d places won't even tell you the gender until 15-17 weeks
