For formula feeding mom's out there

Hello ladies I was just wondering how do you prepare your bottle of formula for your little one please tell me step by step. I'm not a first time mom but I just wanted to hear about how other moms prepare formula. I have been using bottled water such as nursery, Poland spring, or nestle and I know if it's tap water you should boil and then let cool down but I've never used the tap water to make formula.
