I really hope you guys know that feminism is the reason why you have most if your rights today
Feminism.
I would just like to make a PSA to all the women out there who claim they are not feminists. Being a feminist just means that you believe that men and women should have equal rights in all aspects of life. It does not mean you can't be a stay at home mom. It does not mean you can't enjoy being a home maker and cooking and cleaning. It does not mean you can't serve your husband if that is what you want to do. All it means is that all women should have the right to decide what they want to do, whether that is being a CEO or a housewife. So, unless you actually believe that women are less than men and don't deserve to vote, get paid equally, or work in any job, you are a feminist. You can be a feminist even if you personally don't want to vote, etc.

I do not label myself a feminist simply because I am equal to a man and don't need a movement, legislature, a man, society, government, or literally anything to tell me that.I am equal whether or not anyone accepts that. I don't need a movement to make that clear to anyone. The only physical, recorded example of sexism that I can find is a wage gap. I will take $.25 less per hour until families aren't losing their homes and children aren't being killed. However, what it comes down to is that I don't care if a man thinks he's more capable of me. Because he either is more capable of me (which I have no problem admitting) or I'll make it clear with my grace, skill, and attitude that he isn't.

Well....no. I don't have to be a feminist to want equal rights for everyone. I'm not. Feminism is a broad term, that is your definition of it but not everyone's. What about radical feminists? Or misandrists who preach under the name of feminism? As far as having to be feminist to believe in equal rights I'm curious to hear your thoughts on egalitarianism.
