Middle name help!

Natalie
My husband and I are expecting our first baby in October. We've decided not to find out what we're having, but the name I've had picked out for a girl forever is Lindsay Brooklynn. The dilemma I'm having is that my brother and his wife had a girl in February who they named Brooklyn, who they're going to call Brooke, and now I feel like that option for a middle name is off limits. No other middle name seems right now since I've had that named picked out forever. Do you think it's okay to use it -- yes or no? The reasons I can think of to justify it are that (a) I'm using it for a middle name, not a first name, (b) I'm spelling it different (2 n's instead of 1 like my niece), (c) my niece is going to go by Brooke, not Brooklyn, and (d) my brother and I haven't been incredibly close the past few years and don't see each other often -- I feel like it'd be different if we had a really close relationship and saw each other all the time. It won't be an issue if we end up having a boy, but I need to have a name picked out for a girl, especially since my gut is telling me the baby is a girl!
Thank you!
