MAT Leave Rant 😡😡😡

So I live in Ontario, and I had to leave my work at 32 weeks due to me becoming high risk (too many contractions while I was working). That was back in February so I immediately applied for MAT leave because I was only working part time and I'm still in college. TWO MONTHS LATER I was finally able to update my reports that they have for me. For the first one, I stated that I received money that wasn't from work - it was literally $30 from my husband so I could buy groceries while he's away at work. Because I stated this so I wouldn't get in trouble, they gave me trouble and my account is now on hold 😡 I've been waiting two months to get the benefits I've been working for, and now that I need it (desperately now) they refuse to give it to me because I borrowed money from my husband to feed myself! I'm so mad at this ridiculous system, and my son is due this Thursday and if there is any kind of emergency, my husband will have to pay for it because I have literally no money in my account! Not to mention, I know I have to update all the reports before I get paid, which means my mat leave will be delayed even more until they're all completed and it takes two weeks to process it all. I just hate this whole system, it's absolutely pathetic! 😡😡
