Leggings not allowed

I'm in highschool. I'm not allowed to wear leggings. I'm not allowed to wear running leggings that I spent 65 dollars on at Nike for gym class. We don't have uniforms. We just aren't allowed to wear them because it distracts the guys from their learning apparently. do you agree or disagree. Personally, I can't imagine any guys have complained about girls wearing leggings to have them banned? I wear them anyways, but I get in trouble for it which really bothers me. I understand how people can think they're inappropriate but unless they are see through or so tight you might as well be wearing nothing, what is the big deal. Do you think we shouldn't be allowed to wear leggings in school because it "distracts boys from learning"? Those guys shouldn't determine what we are and aren't allowed to wear
