Is it okay if I don't get my period during my off week?

So I take BC pills (Sprintec) and there is a week of placebo pills. Usually I take at LEAST one placebo pill. This week I didn't and I usually start my period on Wednesday when I take at least one placebo pill. Nonetheless, they are placebo pills so I have the option of taking them or not. So my question is, is it okay if I don't get my period this week. I know I am not pregnant bc I have not been sexually active. If my period doesn't come this week should I still start a new pack on Sunday? or should I wait until it does come? PLEASE HELP
