Want a csection?

This is #4, and i really want to schedule a csection and get my tubes tied at the same time. Would they allow that? I might be scheduled for one anyways, if baby hasnt flipped. But i want one anyways cuz id rather knock it all out at one time then wait. My husband travels for work so it would just be easier than having a new baby and waiting a couple months if i have baby naturally. We really cant afford for him to take off work twice within a couple months.

You can also do a post part in tubal ligation or PPTL done within 24 hours of a vaginal delivery ... Tiny incision compared to a section and quick recovery ... Ask your doc about it

My hospital is tying my tubes the day after while i am still in the hospital and that way its just one very small incision. This is my 4th too.

It never hurts to talk to your doctor and ask! My aunt had a c-section and tubes tied with her third, but she had also had previous cesareans.

I think this is actually pretty common. I would definitely let your doctor know that's what you want to do. I never "ask" for anything. You're they're employer...it's your birth, your choice. If they won't do it, there's always a doctor who will.

You should be able to. My friend did it at 32 after her second boy. She was done and they were OK with it.
