Long distance lover

Basically I really like this guy we aren't official but we have been seeing each other for a while. He lives in Scotland and I live in England, we have always planned to meet up but he will either stand me up or cancel on me! Effectively making me look like an idiot as this has been going on for about 9 months now! I know I should probably call it off but we do have a really good connection (it's almost like someone made a male version of me or like someone made me what my version of a perfect boyfriend is) and I want to see where this could go as I do maybe see a future, at the end of the day I just think he is a bit lazy and doesn't really plan ahead? I don't want to look like I'm crazy or nagging and we did stop talking for a while when I brought it up and said you're being a dick about this! Any suggestions? (Sorry I know this is a bit long winded)
