Any advice ladies?

So I was talking to this guy for quite some time, and things were good , he came over on Christmas and was with my family, but then we went back to school after the break and he started acting different , I found out he still talked too his ex, I asked him about it and he told me it was her that been hitting him up, being the delusional girl I was back then I didn't think about much till he grew even more distant, now you'll are probably thinking why I was still talking to him after all that, well trust me I want to know that myself , I guess I grew too comfortable with him, I started my day with him in 1st period and ended as well in 9th. We would text all day till night. We stopped talking for a while but we crossed path and began to talk to each other agian. Not too long ago he confessed he still liked me and I told him I stilled liked home too. Same thing happened & he's still talking to his ex.. I'm trying to get over him but it's hard when he used to be my go to person for everything..
