Losing my virginity?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for quite some time now, and he's ready to take it to the next level. I've told him many times, that if I wanted anyone to have my virginity, I'd want it to be him. I believe this is true. 
Next weekend, we have plans to hang out overnight. He's talked about how he wants to step up our relationship, and I think I do too. But what if I'm not ready? I'm not sure I am. My sexdrive is very high, but I don't want it to get the best of me, if I'm not 100% ready. 
Please help me.. What do I do?

I'm positive you'll know if you're ready when that overnight hangout comes around. I know how I felt when I wasn't ready. I felt literally sick to my stomach with anxiety. But then I talked it through with my boyfriend and he understood. But I knew I was ready when we were hanging out and it just sort of happened and I felt comfortable and happy about it. Trust your gut feeling!

If you're not ready, don't do it. If you decide that you are ready, though, make sure that you bring protection and lube. He should, but preventing pregnancy is up to both of you. Again, if you decide to go through with sex, and it's okay to say no at any time, try to relax. It's not usually great the first few times, but it gets better. Please don't feel pressured to have sex, though.

If you arnt comfortable doing it then don't. Just because he is ready doesn't mean you are, and that's OKAY. If you know you are ready then go for it, but if any part of you feels like it's not time yet then DONT DO IT.  Because once it's gone, you can't take it back.
