Eek! Anxiety attack before sex

So there's this guy that I have been interested in for a couple months, and he's literally gorgeous. He's intellectual, passionate, and ambitious, everything I'm looking for in a man.  We've been flirting for the past two months, but because I know that he could get any girl he wanted, I have played a bit harder to get, and it paid off. Instead of hooking up with him right away, I held off and he ended up asking me on a date to walk on the bay and get dinner. Although I was incredibly intimated by his charm at times, I held my own and got intellectual with him as well. Then we went back to his condo and started to make out. One thing led to another and we were about to have sex, but then he got soft all of the sudden. I was confused because our kissing was incredibly hot but then he put his head down and was like...I'm having a huge anxiety attack right now.  For some reason I thought it was actually really cute that he opened up and that the timing was so ironic, I thought it was an interesting story to share. He was just such a passionate, charismatic guy that it was interesting to me that he was so nervous to have sex that he panicked the way he did. Thirty minutes later though sure enough he was hard as ever and we had some of the best sex I've ever had. So have any of you guys or any of your men got an anxiety attack right before sex??
