No appointment at all until 12 weeks!

Hello ladies. So I'm going on holiday tomorrow and phoned up the hospital as I haven't had an appointment letter through. I'm 7 weeks tomorrow. I spoke to the hospital wondering when my appointment would be as I was concerned I would miss the appointment while away. I spoke to the midwife who said she's inundated with appointments, so I won't have my booking appointment until my 12 week scan. So until 12 weeks I will see no medical professional at all. It's a bit worrying. I saw my Dr to tell her I am pregnant, got a 10 minute lecture telling me I have a high chance of miscarriage and that's it. Not the caring experience I was hoping for and I have absolutely no idea of my baby's development. So 5 weeks of worry until I see someone. That's a bit rubbish 😔xXx
