why UTI!?

is it bad if i get lots of UTIs for the past months??.i havent have sex just recent im just confused why so mant UTIs?i have diabetes but i had it for a good while and i hardly had them now i get them alot is that bad???

It's not good. I also got a lot of UTIs for a while- the doc said something about how the proximity of the urethra to the vagina can help cause it, so even masturbating without washing off after can lead to UTIs. Every time I have sex I have to wash before and after or else I will definitely get a UTI. If sex is not a factor, just make a point to get some baby wipes or a washcloth and wipe off like 12 hours after you shower. So if you shower in the morning, wipe when you go to bed and vice versa. Don't use soap! Soap throws off your PH balance down there- and if it gets in your urethra can also cause UTIs. See if that helps ^^
