Vanity Sizing

I think we are all familiar with the term vanity sizing and most of us have formed opinions about it. When a company increased the measurements for a garment to fit someone bigger than the original size. This just makes it harder to find clothes in the right size. As a size 00 person, I cannot find pants or dresses anywhere that are not too big. I can't buy any underwear other than the 12 packs out of the kids section. I can only find pants that fit at GAP and occasionally AEO. Don't even get me started on buying online. Bras in my size are few and far between. I don't have any perspectives from women of other sizes. I would love had y'alls opinions on this issue. Does it actually improve self esteem? Is it as much of an inconvenience to other as it is to me? Are there any other stores that have more laccurate" sizing y'all want to share?
