will anyone be using baby lotion & powder

Hey ladies wondering will anyone be using baby lotion and powder ? I love the way both smell but have seen many things saying the powder was unsafe. Any other good smelling baby options out there?

The honest company has deliciously smelling organic non chemical baby lotions. Their orange vanilla is amazing and has a very low EWG rating. Never have and never will use baby powder

I've never seen anything about lotions but i know with the powder a long as it cornstarch and not talc its fine. But honestly, I was raised old school. If I went along with every little thing my doctor told me, my grandma would slap the sense into me. I believe a lot of these precautions are actually holding children back from building healthy immunitues against all the stuff in the world. I remember a doctor told me not to give my at the time 6 mo water because it could cause cancer.  It was in the middle of the summer. My grandma just laughed when i told her and preceeded to boil water and then put it in a bottle in the freezer til chilled and gave it to my son anyway. Thats just how she is. She birthed three kids at home in her day, so I pretty much go with what grandma says😁

Babies can inhale that and it's not good for them.

I didn't use powder on my first until around a year old. We use it on her butt to avoid diaper rash because she wears cloth diapers and tends to get warm while playing. We also put a little on her feet when they are sticky. Definitely use a corn starch based powder and don't squeeze the bottle. Just tip slowly instead to avoid puffs of powder going into the air.

I'll be using lotion, I love how any baby lotion smells i use my daughter's lotion on myself all the time too. Not using powder though.

My mom is a nurse and it's highly unrecommended for babies to use baby powder. Instead her and my sister use baby vaseline on my niece (to prevent diaper rash). Hope this helps.
