Is divorce an option for you? Mind sharing why/why not?

My husband and I recently went through something that was not major enough (to me) to get a divorce. In fact, it only matters to me because he cares so much and it was my wrong doing, but he can't let it go and move forward. That's all I want. So all we've been doing this past week is arguing and we are both mentally and emotionally drained. I didn't cheat on him and it didn't involve another man. I don't want to divorce, but things are getting ugly fast....

I never thought divorce would be for me. Then my husband and I started having problems and we let it get the best of us and we almost got divorced. Literally, signed paperwork and everything. We weren't getting divorced because of infidelity or anything like that. It was just simply us getting married young and honestly not knowing what we got ourselves into. I can say that that was the hardest year of my life. We were living together while we were getting divorced because we were living overseas because he was in the Army. Thank goodness after this tough year we moved back to the states and everything got better. We stopped fighting. Everything just fixed itself. I prayed hard about it. I know praying isn't for everyone but I prayed for my marriage to get better. We eventually stopped the divorce process. We wasted tons of money but I don't care because I still have my husband. We've grown up a lot and went through a miscarriage back in January and that was hard on us but were definitely a lot better than how we were a year ago.

Cheating or being abusive would be the only reason for me to consider divorce. Anything else falls under the for better or worse category for me .

I view my marriage as divorce is not an option. For me, it helps not even putting a mythical and possible end to our time line.

It was never an option to me. But I'm in the middle of a divorce right now. There's some things that are out of your control. I did everything I could before getting to this point.

Only in cases of infedelity or abuse or if a man makes decisions (extreme drug use or alcoholism where therapy doesn't help) that put our kids in danger.  Otherwise I think it can be worked on.

I would only be willing to get a divorce for something like mine or possible future children's lives and sell being being threatened, infidelity, abuse, or the other person refusing to work on anything and insisting, because even though in willing to do what it takes to fix things you just can't fix a relationship if they aren't willing to also work for it, but if we are both willing to work and it is actually possible I will

An option ? Yes , is it my plan ? No, but it will always be there if I NEED it. Which I am going to say I won't 😜 I trust I will never have to use it as an option.
