Joyce McKinney: Should female sex offenders be treated any differently than male?

McKinney was a former beauty queen with a high IQ. When she was 25 she had a short affair with a 19 year old. Not a huge deal, right? When the guy went off to England she hired a private spy to hunt him down and tell her where he was. She then kidnapped him and raped/sexually assalted him multiple times after tying him to a bed.

The situation was resolved, but years later she was caught in what was believed to be another attempt to kidnap him outside his job in Utah.

In your opinion, should female sex offenders be treated differently/given easier or shorter sentences than male offenders?
