Beast feeding and birth control?

OK ladies, ideas and experience with what kind of birth control that worked for you while breast feeding? I'm getting closer to my due date (June 10th) and I'm just curious what will be good birth control for me to look into?

I loved Mirena and plan to get it right when I can ;) I also BF for 2 years

I did a pill with no estrogen. You take it continuously so you won't have a period until you switch off of it (that was nice!) but you do have to take it regularly at the same time every day. My doctor said even an hour could make it ineffective. He said breastfeeding can be a decent back up but there are no guarantees.

I chose the Nexplanon implant after I had my 2nd. It's safe to breastfeed on and had the least symptoms of all the different birth controls I've tried.

Your doctor will go over them with you soon. IUD's are great. And I think the mini pill is OK for breastfeeding (you just have to be vigilant about taking it on time EVERY SINGLE DAY).
