Advice

Any advice on getting over someone you know is not good for you? Have been friends with this guy for about ten years but have been friends with benefits for the last half a year. Everyday I tell myself I'm done because it's not healthy for me, knowing that I care about him so much but don't think it's ever going to be more than it is. But the minute he texts or wants to hang out, I give in and I'm right back with him. The thought of even letting go of him hurts, but its something I think needs to happen :'(
