OPK Troubles

So I've been using the ClearBlue Easy Read OPKs the past 2 cycles and have never gotten a positive. I'm using them exactly how its instructed. I really hope I'm still ovulating, and just missing my surge.. If I don't get my BFP this month then I'm going to give up on OPKs next month. I've never temped, might give that a shot so I can at least get an idea of when I ovulate... Any other suggestions?
