Should i go get myseld induced?

My due date was april 26 , tomorrow i will be a week over due. Should i give my baby till thursday? Or should i go to the hospital to get induced. I am 1 cm dilated. And i havent had any contractions. I dont want to have a c setion. Should i wait? What should i do? 😥 i feel this baby is never coming :(

My midwife says anywhere from 37-42 weeks is considered normal. So although frustrating and uncomfortable it's probably best to wait. A lot of studies have said induced labours are more painful and increase the risk of needing interventions. It's definitely personal preference though.

Induction usually just leads to more interventions sometimes including a c- section. I would wait it out. Due dates are not always accurate. Your baby will come when he/she is ready! But definitely walk, have sex, and raspberry leaf tea! My daughter didnt come til 41 weeks & weighed 8 pounds. Good luck!!

start things to induce labor on your own. walk, sex, raspberry leaf tea, bounce on a ball, ect and wait it out till Thursday! ive been walking and drinking raspberry leaf tea and my musuc plug has been following out all day and falls out in larger chunks every time a piece falls out. i also have been bouncing on a ball and on my bed for 15ish minutes

I'm not sure why your doctor doesn't have a plan for you....you should already know at this point what the plan is for your baby.
