Any mommies reading to their babies?

I read to my little boy every night and he loves it. He gets very quiet and watches me. I need to get more books. I may start reading him my books.

I have two boys and we read often, especially before bed. My 4.5 year old and I are reading Matilda. I often have the baby on my lap or on the boppy nursing while I read. If it's an exciting part of the book, he listens to my voice and gets all excited flailing his arms and such. It's very cute. He seems to enjoy story time. I'll start ready baby books specifically to him at about 6 months. That's what we did with our first two as well. Reading is so important. We have a kids library of books. It doesn't matter how broke I am, I always find room for books and workbooks to prepare for school

I have been reading out little one since probably 2 weeks. He stares at the pictures and seems to love it!

Yep. We read, sing songs daily, do all kinds of developmental activities each night before bed.

I have 8 year old twins that love to read to her nightly! They get their reading in and she gets read to, it's a win win! 😊

Yes!!! It's so exciting! I remember crying while pregnant when I thought about reading to my baby haha. The first month flew by but after that I started reading her bedtime stories :) I asked for everyone to bring a book to my shower so we have a great start to our library! :D
