Baby shower Etiquette?

My cousin is also pregnant. She's due a month before I am with a little boy.

I went to her gender reveal party and now she's having two baby showers in which she invited me to both.

Do I really have to? I think it's a tad ridiculous to invite someone to two baby showers unless they're your parents.

Hell, I don't even know how I'm going to get through my own baby shower.

I'm having a friends shower and a separate family shower. I have two really good friends who are basically part of the family that I'm inviting to both. I don't expect them to go to both though. I explained the situation to them and told them they can come to whichever one works better for their schedule!  I think that as long as you explain the situation to those select people who you do invite to both that it isn't a big deal.

My cousin, my sister in law, and I were due within a week of each other. They went to my baby shower and visa versa. My sister in law had two baby showers because her family is so big but we went to both of her's. I almost didn't make it to my cousin's as I had my daughter the next day and wasn't feeling well on the day of her shower.

I'm having two showers...one out of state with my moms family and one in state with my dads family, husbands family and my friends. The only people invited to both are my parents and siblings and my brother isn't coming to one of them. My sister is throwing both and I'm of course helping. Pick one and go!

She might have invited u to both so if u cant make one of them? I would say there could b problems between some of the guest and thats y theres two? This is just coming from reasons in my mind to have two? I wouldnt go to both unless ur helping out with them!
