Trying to get pregnant.

I had the implant, has anyone else had that type of birth control? Just curious on a few things. I was in my period when I had it taken out, I got it out on April 13th and shortly after 3 days later, it ended. I'm ovulating now, glow said I am supposed to start but my doctor said it could take up to 4 weeks to get a period which sounds right, but how long after the birth control has it taken you to get pregnant? Hormone levels are right back up after you get it removed is what the doctor had told me. How soon should I test, I did 2 days ago and it was negative. Just looking for some help?! Anyone have any advice or information? Thank you.
