On public schools in America?

I personally feel like if they don't change, I might be homeschooling my son.

From what I've heard on Facebook from my old high school teachers who are still teaching, it's going downhill very fast.

Another issue I have is that it requires the end of the year testing, which stresses our children our kids out knowing that if they fail, the teacher could get fired.

I feel like all they are teaching is memorization for a test now. At least once you hit 3rd grade.

What's everyone else's opinion on this?
