Numb leg?? Second trimester, normal??

Question

I started getting pretty bad Lower back and side pain about a month and a half ago. I'm now 23 weeks and now have a numb leg on the same side that I get the back pain. It started as just a portion of my thigh and it keeps expanding now to almost my whole leg. After getting online it looks like probably a nerve being pinched. It's really weird and scary though, and doesn't go away it's been constantly numb for about a month now. I go to my doctor tomorrow but has anyone else had this and what was the outcome?

I had the same thing happen to me around that time. We start to carry weight differently and baby is growing and pushing and adding  pressure. Mostly likely the sciatica flaring up. I work in a chiropractic office as a massage therapist.  Massage will help ease this as well as chiropractic through the pregnancy !! Keeping the hips,ankles and vetebrea aligned. I am 36 weeks now and the nerve pain has minimized ! Now I just have swollen ankles to worry about ! Blah

I frequently have pinched nerves in my hips/sacrum area and go to a chiropractor for relief. It takes a few adjustments to unpinch the nerve and maintenance adjustments to keep it from happening but it's totally worth it!

That happened to me during my second trimester. My left butt cheek and halfway down my leg was numb for a few days- I knew from past pregancies it was my sciatica acting up and a pinched nerve. Lots of heating pad,warm Epsom salt baths, and stretching helped, but I think what really fixed it was just my baby growing and moving off the nerve a bit.
