Pack n' play?

 So I have my son's pack n' play set up right next to my bed. I don't want to sleep with him since I am a crazy sleeper and want to keep him safe, and am also not wanting him in his crib a room away right after bringing him home. I was wondering what I should put in the pack n' play to make it comfy for his to sleep? I know that he can't have pillows, toys and things like that. But I was thinking maybe tucking a fluffy blanket around the mattress to make it softer? What do you mommies use? If anything? I'm due May 12th, so in exactly a week from today. Oh and yes, the changing part will not be in there while he sleeps.
