Sent home from work!

So i came to work like ive been doing the past two days and one of the part owners of this place told me i cant work because he doesn't want to be held responsible if i slip and fall. I work at a restaurant but just because im pregnant doesn't mean I can't work. Anyways he was here on Tuesday and Wednesday when i worked and he didn't say shit. I seriously think he is pissed that i gave complaint because for my dinner break i put my food on the side and he ate it. I flipped out because its rude to eat others food without asking and just assumed he could take it. Its not the first time it happened to me and being pregnant and all i was craving it and it was busy so i couldn't eat it right away. So yes i feel like he's taking me out as revenge? Can he sent me home because im pregnant and he dont want to be responsible if something happens to me? Is it legal?
