Diva Cup

So yesterday I gave in and bought a Diva Cup. It was about $40 which seems like a lot, but once you buy a couple boxes of tampons you are at that price anyway. I wish I would have known about the Diva Cup sooner. I bought it because yesterday I was literally changing my tampon every hour or I would bleed through it. It was so annoying while at work. I was trying to hold off as I am TTC (got pregnant first try, had a miscarriage, but no such luck of it happen on the first try again) and I was planning on waiting until after my baby was born. They say you should be able go up to 12 hours without emptying it, but it's 5.5-6 hours for me. I'm okay with it though because it's better than every hour. The only thing I am wondering is what is the best way to take it out? I can get it in just fine, but taking it out feels like it ripping me apart. It's not to painful, but it feels time I am tearing a little. Any advice or tricks would be appreciated.
